From paper straws to bags for life, it is more clear in everyday life that businesses are trying to make improvements. Have you ever stopped to consider the impact hair salons have on the environment and how you can make a change?
Hair salons create a lot of waste, most of which ends up in landfills due to the complexity to recycle it.
Here at Victoria’s we are working hard to change this! Since 2017 we have implemented an application to eliminate our colour waste. Colour waste is one of the most complicated waste products to dispose of from the salon, and most of the time ends up going down the drain. We prevent an average of 1.5 litres of colour waste every week thanks to SmartMix.
